MAKE is made from the residual fabrics factories no longer need: the materials bound unnecessarily for landfills, that have been rescued and repurposed into a product of modernity and care
make only produces in smaller quantities. When their chosen deadstock fabric is no longer available, they move on to new, freshly available excess material which factories have earmarked for waste. This ‘desert island’ approach to fabric-first fashion utilizes resources closest at hand, finding the specialness within each product
MAKE was founded by Sam Osborne who, working as a designer and product manager over the last 20 years, became aware of the amount of surplus material, that he decided to use for the brand. He has a really small local (Cardiff) team of artists, film makers, photographers, most of which he has known for a long time and wanted to work with
MAKE pieces are all uni-sex and size inclusive so they are designed to be worn by anyone and everyone regardless
