Organic Basics switched their carbon offsetting partner earlier in 2020 to One Carbon World. One Carbon World is a global resource partner of the United Nations Climate Neutral Now Initiative and an organisation that certifies businesses carbon neutral by helping them measure, reduce and offset their emissions. Together with One Carbon World they offset their entire CO2e footprint of production, shipping, use phase and end of life through reforestation projects

To celebrate Earth Day 2020, Organic Basics donated 100% of the day’s profits (19,000 €) to Rewilding Europe. Rewilding Europe is an organization that takes a progressive approach to conservation by making Europe a wilder and more biodiverse place. More specifically, they chose to support the ongoing work of Rewilding Europe in the Central Apennines, a 40,000 hectare corridor of wildlife potential in central Italy
