Virón designed a closed loop for the purpose of drastically reducing their carbon footprint. This operation allows customers to return their used shoes to the factory, where the sole will be cut aside, torn apart, and molded back together to form a new sole, thus achieving endless rubber recycling. Because Virón reuses their own materials, they are able to guarantee a slow, conscious production, as well as to encourage a responsible consumption. Virón is 1% For The Planet, meaning they give 1% of their annual revenue to environmental charities. The brand is also partnered with GreenShoes4All, that works towards the implementation and use of a Footwear Product Environmental Footprint (PEF), and analyses their products to calculate their impact
