Colombian-based Agua by Agua Bendita specializes in romantic pieces handmade from sustainable materials by local artisans. This 'Lima Libeulas' maxi dress is cut from low impact fiber that requires little water to flourish and is grown without pesticides, so it's kinder to us and our planet. With it's voluminous tiers, spaghetti straps and embroidered waistband, it embodies 'La Dolce Vita' - just add strappy sandals.

Linen is a strong, lightweight fabric made from the flax plant. It is one of the most historical fibers, and has been used as a clothing textile since 8000BC. 

Linen is a sustainable fabric because of its low requirements of water, resources, and energy to create. There is also little to no pesticides used on linen farms.

It absorbs moisture without holding bacteria. In fact, it is actually stronger when wet than dry and becomes softer and more pliable the more it is washed. Linen is a bio-based material, making it biodegradable, fully composting after it has retired from use.
